Happy New Year from Corpus!

Christmas Celebrations

Christmas has always been my favorite time of year. Of course I love all of the lights, songs, and traditions. From November through the New Year, my apartment tends to looks like a Christmas store you would see in a Hallmark movie😀. The best part, though, is the joy of celebrating Jesus and taking time to be in absolute awe that the God of the universe came to earth to make a way for us to be with Him forever.

Once again this year I got to plan YSCC's annual family Christmas party. This might have been the best one yet! There were games, gift exchanges, scavenger hunts, a bounce house, and of course wonderful food. It was a really special year because it was the first year that Little Miss was able to fully participate with her friends. We have such a special community here!

This Christmas was also special because I got to share it with my nieces and mom in Corpus! We tried to pack in as many fun activities as possible in the short time they were all here together. Little Miss has been LOVING her time with her cousins (I'm pretty sure it's mutual).

Things are amping up this year! We have new staff, new schools, and hopefully some great news ❤️​

Administration

My role in administration will continue, but I will be focusing on streamlining our systems, training our new staff in those systems, and revamping our website. ​

Introduction to Maritime Missions

Our new school starts in April and I can't wait! It's such a wonderful blend of practical sailing knowledge with understanding the basics of missions. 

Foster Care

Life with a 2 year old is entertaining to say the least and she is great at keeping me on my toes. We will hopefully have some exciting news in the next few months!

Chronological Bible Core Course

I will be continuing on as online staff for the Bible Core Course. I can honestly say I love mentoring my students as they study the Scriptures.
